Qur’an
Join Khala Khadija as she recites chapters from the 30th juz of the Qur’an. Students will be exposed to proper makharij (articulation of letters) and qira’at (recitation) which will aid in memorization.
Seerah
Dr. Samar Alsharif takes us on a journey beginning in Makkah and shares the beautiful life of the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) starting from his blessed birth. Dr. Samar will introduce your child to the family of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his companions, and will share important events and stories from his life. The goal of Seerah time with Dr. Samar is to instill love for the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) by teaching children about his life and character.
Math
Ms. Saimah will introduce your child to a broad range of processes all designed to promote mathematical thinking skills such as counting, sorting, comparing, contrasting, measuring, graphing, patterning, and estimating. The best part is we will use materials from home and our every day world!
Literacy
Ms. Saimah will introduce your child to the process of writing various shapes, lines, and letters as well as your child’s name. We will also be learning English letters and sounds through stories and other hands-on lessons. The primary goal is to build your child’s confidence in their writing and reading abilities by breaking things down in to simple, low stress, hands-on lessons.
Art
Ms. Hameeda leads art lessons which focus on the process of creating with a variety of tools and supplies. The focus is on the process, not the end product, and promotes children’s interests and choices while instilling confidence, creative expression and thinking, and fun.
Exercise
Coach Eyad (Coach E.) introduces children to different forms of exercises that are easy to do at home! Coach E’s goal is to grow your child’s confidence ad strengthen their fine motor skills. And of course, it’s always important to have fun!
Weekly Live Zooms
Weekly live zoom sessions are interactive and educational. Your child can participate in a virtual circle time that will promote listening skills, following directions, and active learning. More information about zoom day and time will be shared upon enrollment.
